Lynne Chapman
Lynne Chapman is a children's illustrator. Although I am not really a fan of her children's illustrations as to be honest they scare me a bit! I found her sketches she has done whilst going about her daily life quite interesting. The images themselves are very simple, but I think that is what makes them interesting. The text which accompanies the drawing really brings it to life and gives a modern, quirky feel to the rough sketch. I also admire her bravery...as strange as that sounds looking at this drawing. but I never dare draw in public. I feel that people are always judging me and that I am going to get told off for doing it!

I was browsing the internet on different peoples blogs and I came upon a blog by James Hunter. I really liked his work. It varied alot. In particular the mini model above. I love how detailed it is...but i like

My friend is at Northumbria uni doing graphics...I was just looking through his work on facebook when i came across this! I ABSOLUTLY love it!!!! its soo good...it looks really acturate too! One of my other friends...who is also at Northumbria...but second year now did this in his first year. I find it really interesting...and when I looked at it a year ago I couldnt understand howit could be so accurate...but looking at it now I can see that it isnt that acurate, as the serifs on the bottom left are too big.
These illustrations were done by a boy on my foundation course. I loved his style of work. It is so simple, yet powerful at the same time!
